The style of today’s daily D’Art (seemingly quickly rendered and almost like an old snapshot from the 19th century) reminds me of a wonderful exhibit I saw last year at the Phillips Collection. The show featured a mix of finished paintings and photographic studies, sketches and drawings of the post-impressionists who rendered them.
