Summer skies

It’s been a pretty perfect summer here in Charm City— a mix of hot and sunny with a healthy dose of rain. But I will admit it’s been a disappointing year so far for the big storms that blow in with hurricanes. The upside of course is everything has grown like a glorious jungle and swimming outside is just beautiful (I’ve been able to do laps out in the sun since April or May and look forward to doing so for several more weeks).

Despite the beautiful sunny weather, I still keep hoping for a nice big storm. So while I sit inside today working on a mix of things, I keep glancing out the window to see if the overcast skies have transitioned to storm clouds. No such luck as yet.
